Atlanta – August 14, 2018

NTSC Southeast Regional CISO Policy Roundtable – Atlanta

August 14, 2018

Hosted by NTSC Board Member Bob Varnadoe, Chief Information Security Officer of NCR, the National Technology Security Coalition’s Southeast Regional CISO Policy Roundtable brings together senior technology security executives in an exclusive setting—with great speakers talking about data protection privacy trends and active cyber defense.

Cybersecurity and Data Protection Privacy Trends

Alexander M. White, Deputy Chief Privacy Officer for the state of South Carolina

Robert Ball, Chief Privacy Officer at Ionic Security

In the wake of GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, many CISOs are especially concerned about a wave of privacy regulations that may impact their businesses. Alexander will share his perspective about regulatory trends from a state privacy officer’s perspective coupled with Robert’s expert policy insights.

Active Cyber Defense for Private Sector CISOs

Geoff Hancock, CEO of the Advanced Cybersecurity Group

Chad Hunt, Supervisory Special Agent from the Atlanta office of the FBI

As the federal government takes steps to create a more aggressive security posture toward adversaries in cyberspace, many CISOs have questions about the advantages and risks of active cyber defense within their organizations and in partnering with the federal government. Geoff and Chad will focus on the concept of active cyber defense for private sector CISOs from their unique federal government and private sector experiences.

In addition to these important discussions, CISOs will network with peers during the event and at a private dinner and reception after the event.
