CISA works with the private sector to understand the challenges and advise on cyber and physical risks to the nation’s critical infrastructure. CISA helps partners strengthen their own capabilities and seeks to connect key stakeholders in industry and government to each other and provide resources, analyses, and tools to help them build their own cyber, physical and communications security, and, in turn, strengthen national resilience.
Please join Alex Joves, CISA Region 5 Regional Director, which encompasses 34 Tribal Nations and stakeholders in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin, as he discusses how CISA can help you better prepare to defend your enterprise against cyber adversaries.
Geoff Hancock, Global Director of Cybersecurity Engineering, World Wide Technology (WWT)
Every company in today's business environment is looking to transform digitally as they seek to better engage with customers, fans, patients, enable employees and automate operations. To achieve this goal, organizations need sharp technologists capable of driving innovation, collaboration and execution. But the rapid pace of change in today's technology landscape -- paired with increased competition for highly skilled talent and a reshuffling of talent brought about by hybrid work environments -- is making it incredibly difficult to find those resources, let alone hire and retain them.
Geoff Hancock, former CISO and Global Director of Cybersecurity at Worldwide Technologies joins us to discuss the key issues associated with ensuring you are constantly elevating and accelerating the learning your technologists receive, and how WWT is doing this today with their Advanced Technology Center Platform.
Robin Wright, Chief Technology Officer & Architect Manager, CRSP Team, Microsoft Corporation
While firms strive to defend against cyber intrusions, especially ransomware, the reality is that many firms are being successfully attacked. According to a recent report from Cyber Security Ventures, an organization fell victim to ransomware every 11 seconds in 2021. Robin Wright, Chief Technology Officer & Architect Manager at Microsoft’s Compromise & Recovery Security Practice (CRSP), a worldwide team of cybersecurity experts with deep expertise in securing an environment post-security breach, will join us to discuss real-world case scenarios and provide guidance regarding best practices in defending against ransomware attacks.
