2019 NTSC WESTERN REGION CISO POLICY ROUNDTABLE

Seattle – September 5, 2019

September 5, 2019

The National Technology Security Coalition’s 2019 Western Region CISO Policy Roundtable brings together senior technology security executives in an exclusive setting to talk about trends in national cybersecurity policy. Our host for this event is Bret Arsenault, Corporate Vice President and CISO at Microsoft.

The Intersection of Privacy and Security

Our opening session will focus on the intersection of privacy and security, and the conversation will be led by Robert Ball, General Counsel and Global Privacy Officer at Ionic Security. Robert also serves as the Chair of the NTSC Policy Council. Representative Suzan DelBene (D-WA-01) will join us to discuss her thoughts on federal privacy legislation and H.R. 2013, the Information Transparency and Data Control Act, which Rep. DelBene introduced earlier this year.

Why Your CMO is Your Best Friend in a Cyber Event

Our second session will focus on the importance of having a relationship with your CMO well in advance of any incident, but especially a cyber incident. This session will be led by Michael Neumeier, CEO of the Arketi Group, a public relations and digital marketing agency serving a wide range of Fortune 500 clients. Mike serves on several boards including FinTech Atlanta, the Technology Association of Georgia (and its executive committee), and the Advisory Council of the College of Charleston Department of Communication.
