NTSC Applauds Release of Biden Administration’s National Cyber Strategy

Washington, D.C. – March 2, 2023 - The National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC), the only organization exclusively focused on representing the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in Washington, D.C., applauds the release of the Biden Administration’s National Cyber Strategy today. The NTSC continues to advocate for a coherent national approach to our collective cybersecurity, and the National Cyber Strategy is a key part of that approach.

“The National Cyber Strategy aligns with several of our main priorities,” said Patrick Gaul, Executive Director of the NTSC. “I am particularly glad to see an emphasis on developing a diverse and robust national cyber workforce. We have a long way to go, but with priorities aligned between the White House and the private sector, we are sure to get there.”

NTSC is glad that the Office of the National Cyber Director (ONCD) has been tasked with realizing the vision of the National Cyber Strategy. Former ONCD Director Chris Inglis spoke at our 2022 National CISO Policy Conference, where he shared exceptional insight and expertise that has already permeated into the fabric of the ONCD. We would like to thank him for his service as the office’s first director. His hard work and dedication transformed the ONCD from concept to reality.

The NTSC looks forward to maintaining dialogue with the ONCD, Acting ONCD Director Kemba Walden, and the White House as we work together for a more secure future.
