“I’m excited to share that I’m joining the board of the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC). As a CISO Advisor at Cisco Secure, I’m looking forward to bringing my 30 years of cybersecurity experience to bear on a large community of Chief Information Security Officers around the world. This is a great opportunity to bring my specific background as a former Federal Chief Information Security Officer to this valuable community and contribute to what the NTSC already brings to the cybersecurity legislative and policy deliberations at the national level. Thank you to the NTSC for appointing me - I look forward to achieving great things together.”

Bruce is a highly experienced, executive-level Chief Information Security Officer and subject matter expert on cybersecurity and risk management. As a senior member of the CISO Advisory Team at Cisco Systems, Bruce works closely with CISOs across the nation and brings a strong public sector background that compliments his work within the private sector.

“The NTSC is heavily focused on strengthening the public/private sector partnership and we plan to leverage Bruce’s experience as the first Senior Executive Service (SES) Chief Information Security Officer in the Federal Government at the Department of Veterans Affairs and later as the Chief Information Security Officer for the U.S. Department of Energy in that effort” said Patrick Gaul, Executive Director at the NTSC”

Brody has also served in a variety of executive positions in private industry, including Vice President for Information Assurance at CACI, Chief Cyber Security Strategist at Paradigm Solutions, Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at DRS Leonardo, and Chief Cybersecurity Strategist and CISO for Cubic Global Defense.

‘His thought leadership and transformative work at multiple companies makes him a perfect addition to our stellar group of CISOs on the NTSC Board of Directors, and we are delighted to welcome Bruce as a board member.”
