NTSC Executive Director Patrick Gaul Talks About the Role of CISOs and the Need for More Women in Cybersecurity on the Chick in Charge Podcast
Recently featured on the Chick in Charge Podcast with Mary H. Parker, NTSC Executive Director Patrick Gaul talked about Georgia’s unique cyber strengths, the evolving role of the CISO, cybersecurity advice for small business owners, and the relative dearth of women in the cybersecurity profession. Gaul points out that only 10 percent of cybersecurity jobs, 25 percent of total computing jobs, and 20 percent of CISO jobs are filled by women. That needs to change, and Gaul discussed some initiatives by the NTSC to help tackle this diversity problem within organizations.
